Why marine collagen?
Marine collagen from fish consists almost entirely of type I collagen, the same type that predominates in human skin. Bovine collagen does not achieve this ultra-low molecular size in this form.
How quickly is it absorbed?
Due to their small molecular size, the peptides enter the bloodstream quickly. According to a study on the raw material used, the concentration peaks after about 30 minutes – around 4× faster than standard collagen.
Why is Dalton (molecular size) important?
The lower the Dalton value, the smaller the peptides. Particularly short-chain units are absorbed by the body more quickly and without further breakdown. This supports bioavailability and signaling.
What role does acerola play?
We use natural vitamin C from acerola instead of synthetic additives. One daily serving provides 87.6 mg (110% NRV). Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin.
